Built around 2″ x 30′ of low-stretch polyester webbing, finished in blue, this ratchet strap gives you mechanical leverage instead of relying on arm strength alone to cinch down a load. End hardware is hardware built for fast, repeated hookup and release in the field.
Key Features
- Densely woven polyester webbing that stands up to abrasion, tearing, and everyday wear better than lighter-duty straps
- Heat-sealed webbing ends that resist fraying so the strap keeps its finished edge over years of use
- Corrosion-resistant zinc-plated hardware built for outdoor and roadside use
- Tagged and stenciled with break strength and working load limit information to support compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American cargo securement standards
Applications
- Everyday towing and utility trailer use
- Flatbed and open-trailer freight hauling
- Landscaping, construction, and job-site equipment transport
- Moving and general hauling with pickup trucks and trailers
Installation
Wrap the fixed end around the anchor point and feed the free end through the ratchet mandrel, pulling out slack by hand before ratcheting. Tighten in small increments until the load is secure, then close and lock the ratchet handle. Confirm hooks are properly seated on rated anchor points, stay within the strap’s working load limit, and re-check tension after the first few miles.
