This 3″ x 20′ ratchet strap in blue is built for everyday cargo securement, pairing tough polyester webbing with a ratchet mechanism that lets you dial in exactly the right amount of tension by hand. It’s fitted with a wide flat hook that distributes tension across rub rails and trailer edges. Sold as a 4-pack.
Key Features
- Densely woven polyester webbing that stands up to abrasion, tearing, and everyday wear better than lighter-duty straps
- Heat-sealed webbing ends that resist fraying so the strap keeps its finished edge over years of use
- Built-in defender at the hook to reduce webbing wear at the point of contact
- Corrosion-resistant zinc-plated hardware built for outdoor and roadside use
- Tagged and stenciled with break strength and working load limit information to support compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American cargo securement standards
Applications
- Moving and general hauling with pickup trucks and trailers
- Flatbed and open-trailer freight hauling
- Everyday towing and utility trailer use
- Landscaping, construction, and job-site equipment transport
Installation
Wrap the fixed end around the anchor point and feed the free end through the ratchet mandrel, pulling out slack by hand before ratcheting. Tighten in small increments until the load is secure, then close and lock the ratchet handle. Confirm hooks are properly seated on rated anchor points, stay within the strap’s working load limit, and re-check tension after the first few miles.
