The dial test indicator (6553) has a 7-jewel movement and is graduated 0-15-0 x 0.0005″. The range is 0.030″ in either direction. It includes 5/32″ and 3/8″ diameter posts, dovetails on the back and end, and a 0.080″ diameter point. The dial test indicator comes in a fitted case.
The magnetic base (2029) is the perfect size for mini lathes and mini mills. It accepts dial indicators with 3/8″ or 8 mm stems and dial test indicators with dovetails. This magnetic base is smaller than most. It has a unique central locking mechanism locks all motion with one knob. The on/off switch makes it easy to position, and the V-groove base allows you to mount it on cylindrical surfaces. The base is 1.2″ by 1.5″. The maximum reach is 7″.
