Soudafoam FR HY is a high-yield, fire-resistant, one-component expanding polyurethane foam filler manufactured by Soudal. It offers approximately 25% more yield than the standard Soudafoam FR, making it an efficient choice for filling gaps and cavities in construction applications.
Features
- Fire Resistance: Compliant with EN1366-4, providing up to 4 hours of fire resistance depending on joint configuration.
- High Yield: Expands 3540 times its initial volume, allowing for greater coverage per can
- Thermal and Acoustic Insulation: Offers excellent insulation properties, enhancing energy efficiency and soundproofing.
- Adhesion: Exhibits excellent primerless adhesion on most construction materials, excluding polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
- Rapid Curing: Cures quickly, facilitating faster project completion.
- Environmental Considerations: Contains HCFC- and CFC-free propellants, making it less harmful to the ozone layer.
